Dr Nisreen Takulla-Khalil

Dr. Takulla-Khalil was born and raised in Bahrain, where she lived till high school. She then moved to India and started her dental career at the Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital in Pune, which was a 5 year training program. Dr Takulla-Khalil practiced dentistry for a few years in India prior to moving to the United States. She was admitted in a competitive 3 year Advanced Standing Program at the New York College of Dentistry (NYUCD), New York from where she graduated in 2011. During her training at the New York College of Dentistry, she had the unique opportunity to serve patients with Special Needs by being one of the few selected students for a ‘Special Patient Care’ Honors Program. She was also recognized for her academic achievements by Omicron Kappa Upsilon. After graduating from NYUCD, Dr Takulla-Khalil moved to Boston to complete a one-year Oral Surgery residency at Boston Medical Center and Boston University Dental School. Dr. Takulla-Khalil belongs to the Academy of General Dentistry, and has become a Fellow of the Academy, an honor obtained by just 7% of dentists in the US. She is a member of the Spear Study Club and attends meetings regularly throughout the year where she interacts with other general dentists and specialists. She continually augments her knowledge and clinical skills through various hands-on and online courses, meetings, conferences as well as attends yearly workshops at one of leading private dental academies- the Spear Academy in Arizona. Her other professional memberships include: American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry American Dental Association Massachusetts Dental Society North Shore Dental Society Dr Takulla-Khalil believes that dental health is an essential, integral part of overall health and has made it her goal to provide the best dental care possible in a comfortable and compassionate environment utilizing top of the line dental technology.
