Dr. Gallagher began pursuing a career in dentistry to combine his skills in the biological sciences with the opportunity to live in a smaller, rural area where he could enjoy the outdoors and raise a family. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from a university in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and was admitted to Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He completed four years of dental school and was awarded a Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2008. A native of Northern California, Dr. Gallagher moved to Medford, Oregon, with his wife in 2008. She is an Oregon native, a graduate of Southern Oregon University, and an established optometrist. They have three children: McKenzie, Finn, and Taryn. When not working, they enjoy skiing and exploring Southern Oregon’s beautiful outdoors.
