Dr James T. Johnston

Dr. James T. Johnston earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Northwest Arkansas Dental Society. He is on the board of directors of Delta Dental Plan of Arkansas. He has served on the Marion School Board and the Mid-South Community Foundation Board. He is active in the Marion Rotary Club and the Marion United Methodist Church. Dr. Johnston established the practice in 1966. After many years in a solo practice, Dr. Johnston sold his practice to Dr. Scarbrough. He now works alongside Dr. Scarbrough three days a week. He is also involved in a dental transition company named Paragon. He enjoys his extra time helping other dentists buy and sell dental practices. Dr. Johnston and his wife, Carol, have three children which have blessed him with five grandchildren. His hobbies include hunting, fishing and rock hounding.
