Dr Tony Huynh

Dr. Tony Huynh is a Vietnamese-American who moved to Memphis as a teen. His passion for making people smile began at Germantown High School. With the support of his family and mentors, he dedicated himself to pursuing a career in dentistry. He first received his bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry at the University of Memphis with Magna Cum Laude and University Honors before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Tony’s artistry, passion for dentistry, and dedication to his patients led him to pursue further education in the Advanced Prosthodontics Residency at UTHSC, one of the most prestigious programs internationally. There, he specialized in the complete reconstruction of complex oral conditions using prostheses like crowns, bridges, and dental implants. He also earned his Master of Dental Science during his three years of advanced training at UTHSC. Because of his passion for teaching, he joined the College of Dentistry as an assistant professor and lectured for various study clubs and courses. He is involved in various community services such as Mission Mid-south of Mercy and Remote Medical Area. He is also an active member of numerous organizations, such as the American Dental Association, the American College of Prosthodontics, and the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics. Dr. Tony is not only a prosthodontist but also a well-known food critic who loves trying new restaurants with his family and friends. His photos and reviews of eateries across the country have gained over 2 million views, making him one of the top 5% of reviewers on Google. In addition, he enjoys cooking and baking, traveling, and spending time with his loved ones.
