Dr. Hunt was born and raised in Caldwell, Idaho. She grew up playing softball, skiing, and swimming for the local swim team. In 1997, she graduated from Bishop Kelly High School in Boise, Idaho. Following graduation, she moved to South Bend, Indiana to attend the University of Notre Dame, where she graduated in 2001. Go Irish! She then moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where she spent 4 years in dental school at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, graduating with her DMD degree in 2005. Next, she spent 1 year at Idaho State University, where she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, gaining more surgical experience, including difficult extractions and placing implants. She then moved home to Boise and joined the team at Benchmark Family Dentistry, becoming a partner in 2011. Dr. Hunt and her husband, Alan, love spending time with their 2 kids and their golden retriever, Stella. They can usually be found in the mountains, hiking or skiing, or on the ball field playing baseball, soccer, or flag football. They also love to travel the globe when they get the chance.
