Dr. David Wilson completed six years of advanced post-doctoral training since dental school. He studied dentistry and undertook an implantology residency at the European University of Madrid. A native of Tampa, Florida, he then returned to the U.S. to complete his implant restorative dentistry fellowship, periodontics residency and master of science in dentistry at LSU School of Dentistry. Dr. Wilson has been licensed to practice in Spain since 2009 and worked as a general dentist while living abroad. He is fluent in Spanish and English. Dr. Wilson's practice focuses on comprehensive periodontal treatment, with a special interest in surgical and restorative implant dentistry. During training, he also completed advanced continuing education courses in implantology, including at the Misch International Implant Institute. Outside the office, Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, traveling, snow skiing, playing tennis and cooking. He is thrilled to serve patients in the New Orleans area, his home since 2011.
