Dr Gayla Levine

Dr. Levine has been delivering the highest quality dental care to her patients for the last 25 years. Originally from Ogdensburg, NY, Dr. Levine earned her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Boston College and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry. After dental school, she completed advanced training through a general practice residency at Tufts University and New England Medical Center. Dr. Levine’s interest in dentistry began when she interned for her childhood dentist. Dentistry is a family pursuit and both Dr. Levine’s sister and brother-in-law, Dr. Shannon Cole and Dr. Joseph Ahlo are also dentists. After completing her residency, Dr. Levine entered private practice in Townsend, MA working alongside Dr. Michael John-- a longtime dentist and former instructor in the Tufts University General Practice Residency Program. She eventually followed him to Tewskbury Hospital in Massachusetts where she enjoyed treating patients with special needs. She opened Village Green Family Dentistry in Windham in 2011. In addition to being licensed in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts, she is professionally affiliated with the American Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry , New Hampshire Dental Society and Massachusetts Dental Society . As a Windham resident, Dr. Levine is active in the community. She devotes her time to visiting local classrooms to speak with children about their oral health. She has also participated in dental screenings for the Special Olympics. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeff, and their three children, Luke, Caitlin, and Claire. She can often be seen running along the Windham Rail Trail. As the former president of the Colonial Figure Skating Club, she is often seen cheering for her children at area arenas.
