Dr Laura Cabrera

Dr. Laura Cabrera is the owner and head dentist at Relax and Smile Dental Care. She emigrated from Cuba to Miami, Florida, at the age of 17, where she completed her high school education. She then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Florida International University. Laura later received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Cabrera completed a General Practice residency program at the UNLV School of Dental Medicine, where she received additional training in advanced dental procedures, including implant placement, hospital dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and conscious sedation. When she’s not in the office, Dr. Cabrera enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, exploring the city, and spending time with her family. Her husband, Louie, their daughter, Lucia, and their two dogs, Ricky and Stefanie, live nearby—so you might see them pop in from time to time. Dr. Cabrera and her team are professionally trained and dedicated to providing the best possible experience to leave you relaxed and smiling.
