Dr. Bharat Rana was born and raised in India. His parents, who are first-generation Indian immigrants, settled in the USA in 2000. Dr. Rana, who kept in touch with his cultural roots, is fluent in Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu and is the youngest of three children. He is proud to be the first dentist in his entire family history. Dr. Rana completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) at the Punjab University. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry. He spent two years in Phoenix, Arizona at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, A. T. Still University completing Advanced Education in General Dentistry (A.E.G.D.) two year residency, where he served as Chief Resident during the second year. Dr. Rana enjoys the challenges of Dentistry and places his primary focus on meeting the individual needs of each patient. He offers care ranging from preventative dentistry to advanced restorative dentistry involving white composite fillings, crowns, veneers, root canal treatment, extractions, complete, partial dentures, and Implant dentistry. He is a member of the Special Needs Dentistry Association (S.N.D.A.), the American Dental Association (A.D.A.), and the Michigan Dental Association (M.D.A.).
