Dr Jessica McBride

Dr. Jessica McBride, General Dentist at Midlothian Dental Center, specializes in general and cosmetic dentistry, management of periodontal conditions, placement and restoration of dental implants, grafting, and pre-prosthetic surgery, as well as IV and oral sedation. Dr. McBride is a Virginia native, born in Henrico and raised in Chesterfield County. She began her journey in the dental field in 2006 as a dental assistant, and her love for dentistry quickly blossomed. During her pre-dental journey she worked in various settings, from general dentistry to pediatrics and even public health. After completing a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, she worked in private practice while teaching part-time as a clinical instructor at VCU, and even temped at MDC for a short time prior to entering dental school! A self-proclaimed dental nerd, Dr. McBride prides herself on her chairside mannerisms and ability to connect with patients of all ages and backgrounds. Her philosophy of practice is to lead with transparency, treat the whole person (not just the teeth!), and encourage patients to be an active participant in their care. When she is not practicing dentistry, you can probably find Dr. McBride singing, dancing, or baking (or usually a combination of all three!), and spending time with her husband Ryan, their three children, extended family, and close friends whenever she can.
