Dr. Ric Sherman lives his life in a direction that targets his core values. When you see him outside of his scrubs you will most likely find him adventuring with his eight year old son Hawke. Fishing, mountain biking, camping, hunting, exercising, skiing and boating with his family are to name a few of his favorite past-times. Dr. Sherman served a two-year mission in Mexico, where he learned Spanish and enjoyed the people and culture. He completed a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology with minors in chemistry and Spanish at BYU-Idaho. At the end of his junior year in undergrad, he met his future wife, Mandie. She grew up in Sandy, UT where they now live. Dr. Sherman attended dental school at Midwestern University in Arizona, where he was trained in restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and surgical and implant dentistry. He was awarded the Logan Doseck Award, given to dental students who, over four years, showed continued determination to succeed despite all obstacles, showing courage, determination and compassion for others along the way. He also has pursued extensive training and certifications in dental implants, a myriad of surgical procedures, laser dentistry (LANAP), Invisalign® clear aligners and others. He earned the status of diplomate at Whitecap Institute and continues to pursue technology and the latest dental techniques to provide full-arch dental implants to cosmetic restorative smile rehab dentistry.
