Dr. Andrew McGarry is a native Oklahoman. His surgical training encompasses the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants and grafting surgery, placement of zygomatic implants, extensive training in facial trauma reconstruction, head/neck pathology, and correction of dentofacial deformities with orthognathic surgery. Dr. McGarry moved to Texas for a short time to attend Southern Methodist University, where he majored in Finance, before deciding to return home and attend Dental School at the University of Oklahoma. While attending the University of Oklahoma, he received multiple awards in Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry. Upon completion of his doctorate, Dr. McGarry moved to Delaware to complete his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Christiana Care Hospital in Wilmington. Dr. McGarry has a special appreciation for the restorative side of dental implants, as his father is a prosthodonist. He was raised to appreciate the end restoration and that approach has been a helpful guide that allows him to work closely with his referrals, achieving both esthetic and functional results. Dr. McGarry joined OKC-OMS in 2018 and has since received his board certification from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
