Dr Darren Wong

Hello, my name is Dr. Darren Wong. I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, where my family is 4th generation. When I’m not fixing people’s smiles, I enjoy surfing, cooking, making sushi and doing yoga. I attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where I earned my degree in business with a major in finance. During my time at UH Manoa, I became extremely interested in investment and bond trading, and I worked for five years as an assistant bond trader at Hawaiian Trust Company and Bank of Hawaii. After my time in the investment field, I decided to pursue a career in the medical or dental field and returned to school to complete my prerequisites. I attended the University of California, San Francisco, and graduated with my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001. I have been working as a general family dentist for over 23 years—first as an associate, then as a private practice owner. I love the art of dentistry and the fact that I can make a difference in someone’s life by maintaining and improving their smile and overall oral health. I am committed to my ongoing development and education and understand that there is always something new to learn. I am proficient in general family dentistry, including implant surgery, orthodontic Invisalign treatments, sleep apnea dental appliances, and now aesthetic and therapeutic Botox and dermal fillers.
