Dr Carolyn Griffin

Dr. Griffin has a passion for patient care and strives to create beautiful, healthy, lasting smiles for patients in Shorewood. Prosthodontists specialize in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with missing or deficient teeth, and as such, she focuses on aesthetics and oral rehabilitation— specifically in cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry. Dr. Griffin graduated Cum Laude from Marquette University in 2007 and Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2010, where she also earned her certificate in prosthodontics. Throughout her training, Dr. Griffin received many honors including the Marquette University Ignatius Scholarship, Wisconsin Academic Excellence Scholarship, Midwest Dental Scholarship, Zoepfel Morton Scholarship, Delta Dental Scholarship, and Wisconsin Dental Association Scholarship. She has presented at the Wisconsin Section of the American Academy of Prosthodontics and has participated in mission trips to Utah with the Academy of Prosthodontics to perform dental treatment for the Navajo Nation. After obtaining her DDS, Dr. Griffin completed 3 years of rigorous education and residency beyond dental school to earn her advanced degree in prosthodontics. Her residency emphasized implant reconstruction, resolving implant-related complications, aesthetic dentistry, and removable prosthodontics (dentures and partial dentures).
