Dr. John Petersen grew up in St. Anthony, Minnesota. He received an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Minnesota and graduated from its School of Dentistry with distinction honours. He completed a General Practice Residency at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center, gaining advanced training in treating medically complex patients, periodontics, oral surgery, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics. In his free time, he enjoys running, travelling, and spending time up north with family and friends. He and his wife Mallory have a baby daughter.
