Dr David Martin

Dr. David Martin, III is a board-certified general dentist who is accredited by and a member of the American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association, and Mobile Dental Association. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry after obtaining his bachelor’s degree at the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. In this effort, along with countless additional hours of continuing education, Dr. Martin has developed a theory of comprehensive dental care. It begins with cultivating ideal oral health for the teeth and supporting tissues, as well as excellence in appearance and function. This is followed up with a resourceful and serious program of preventive dental care. First, he will attain excellence in oral health, then help you to maintain it. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and currently is on the Mobile Opera Board and the board of the YMCA. Dr. Martin is past president of the Alliance Française and the English Speaking Union. He lives in Mobile with his beautiful wife and has two sons, two much-loved daughters-in-law, and five adorable grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and gardening. Dr. Martin fluently speaks French, Spanish, and English.
