Dr. Metzger strives to achieve excellence in the field of Periodontics and is enthusiastic about providing the best care for our patients with the latest treatments available. Dr. Metzger is a native of Mobile, Alabama. She is a cum laude graduate of Birmingham-Southern College. Along with many accomplishments, both academic and charitable, she has also received athletic awards for her participation on the Women's Soccer Team. She then attended and graduated from University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Dentistry. She was selected as 1 of 10 students to learn more about Periodontology, outside of regular class hours. She has also completed her residency in Periodontics at University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, where she received her Master of Science in Dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Dr Metzger is now an AAFE certified member. (American Academy of Facial Esthetics) This allows her to treat her patients using Botox and Fillers.
