I am so very fortunate to be a dentist. Every day I am able to fix problems, improve lives, and connect with people from all different backgrounds. I get up in the morning and am genuinely excited to see my patients and my staff, and happy to interact with everyone while improving people’s health. Some people dread visiting a dentist: my team and I work hard to make our office a place where people can relax and laugh during a procedure. I love making each person feel comfortable and explaining what we’ll be doing as a way to educate and take away their fears. Communication is an integral part of what I do. Talking with people, listening to their stories and learning about what has gone into shaping the person in my chair is one of my favorite parts of my job – not to mention creating healthy, long-lasting, beautiful smiles! Sometimes I feel as though a simple conversation can be more helpful than the dentistry I end up performing. My goal in dentistry is to make sure you, as the patient, know all of your options: the good, the bad, and the ugly. One of the most important responsibilities of my job is to educate you so you can make informed decisions about your oral health.
