After graduating from St. Frederick High School, he attained his undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. His education continued at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where he earned his DDS degree. His hobbies outside of dentistry include fishing, cooking, and working on cars.
