Growing up in Armenia, I had a traumatic dental experience that I carried throughout my childhood. When I came to the US, our family dentist went above and beyond to make me comfortable. That experience and my relationship with him became the stepping stone for my career in dentistry. From that point on, I wanted to become a dentist in order to provide similar experiences for all my patients.
