Dr Suganya Nelatoor

Dr. Nelatoor has completed 5 years of dental school prior to moving to the states, where she decided to pursue her DDS at NYU College of Dentistry, New York. She graduated with a DDS degree in 2004, and served the needs of DC and VA residents for 10 years, before moving to Charlotte in 2013. Charlotte has been Dr. Nelatoor and her family’s home for the last 7 years. She has worked as a general dentist, treating the various dental needs of the young, adult, and geriatric populations over these years. She has decided to bring her vast skills to her practice in Waxhaw, NC. She is passionate about dentistry and hopes to brighten smiles of many more North Carolina residents in years to come. Her motivation to pursue a career in dentistry came from watching her Dad suffer from poor dental care. Her personal goal is to improve one smile at a time. Dr. Nelatoor enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, and getting herself educated on the ever evolving changes in dentistry. She spends her time traveling, cooking, and hanging out with friends. Earlier this year, she was also able to go on a mission trip to Guatemala to serve the dental needs of the population there. In 1999, Dr. Nelatoor received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery and in 2004, received her Doctor of Dental Surgery at New York University College of Dentistry, New York.
