Dr. Jackson was born and raised in New Jersey. She attended New Jersey Institute of Technology as a member of the Albert Dorman Honors College. She completed her bachelor’s of science in engineering science graduating magna cum laude as a participant in the accelerated B.S./D.M.D. program. Dr. Jackson attended UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School (now the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine) where she served as president of the Student National Dental Association. Upon graduating Dr. Jackson was awarded the Uriel Gunthrope Award and the New Jersey Dental School Student Leadership and Distinguished Service Award. After dental school, Dr. Jackson attended a general practice residency at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ. In this program she focused on complex comprehensive dental care and care of medically compromised patients. Dr. Jackson has had over 20 years of clinical experience in dentistry. She prides herself on treating every patient with the utmost gentle care. Dr. Jackson is also a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. Achieving Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry is one of the few added distinctions a general dentist can achieve. The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) is the only professional association exclusively serving the interests and needs of general dentists. To earn Fellowship in the AGD, dentists must take more than 500 hours of education courses in various disciplines. Candidates must also pass a rigorous exam. The award is then presented to general dentists in a formal ceremony. Dr. Jackson is one of only 6 percent of general dentists who have achieved this honor. Dr. Jackson has received hands on training in facial injectable techniques and is an active member in the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE). Dr. Jackson is a current member of the LISTERINE Advisory Board.
