Dr. Nzingha Stovall, born in Louisiana, considers herself a native of Montgomery. She attended Elementary, Junior High, and high school here in Montgomery receiving an advanced diploma from Lanier Academic Motivational Program (LAMP). Dr. Stovall completed her Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from Florida A&M University and continued to the University of Alabama at Birmingham to pursue a degree in Dentistry. She obtained her Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2006 and finished a General Practice Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital in 2007. Dr. Stovall enjoys spending time with her husband, Reginald, and their two children, Skyler and Lailah. She is actively involved in organized sports with her children. In her spare time, she is an avid crafter and enjoys bring life to new ideas. Dr. Stovall is also involved in several ministries at her church. She has completed EMERGE Torchbearer’s Leadership Class and spends time educating the community about dental health care.
