Dr. Lindsay S. Montgomery grew up in Cedarville, Michigan and graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University. After graduation, she worked with her father, John J. Scherer, DDS, in Cedarville, Michigan to work in his dental practice. She discovered how dentistry can offer a variety of services to people and being involved with the public daily gave her the aspiration to join the dental profession. She then attended Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and graduated in May 2003. For five years, she served in the United States Navy as a general dentist at the Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, North Carolina. During her service, she deployed overseas in Operation Iraqi Freedom providing dental care to military personnel. She was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for her efforts. Dr. Montgomery and her husband, Darren, moved to the Charlotte area for her to join in private practice and build their life together. Her sister, Kara K. Lembo, along with her family, moved to the Charlotte area from Detroit, Michigan, to join together in private practice, which has been a passion to do together from the beginning. Dr. Montgomery enjoys the outdoors, the beach, the warm weather Carolinas have to offer, and being with her family. She and her husband Darren, are proud to be a part of the Mooresville community. They have a daughter, Coralyn, who is now 11 years old.
