Dr. Kallaos was born and raised in Southern California, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1995. He received his Certificate in Periodontics from the University of California, San Francisco in 1998 with extensive training in implant surgery, oral medicine, intravenous conscious sedation, and surgical and non-surgical periodontics. Dr. Kallaos is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and maintains a permit from the State of California in conscious sedation.
