Dr. Richard Carrara is a native of New Jersey, growing up in West Caldwell. A graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ (now Rutgers School of Dental Medicine), Dr. Carrara earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine. Prior to attending the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ, Dr. Carrara received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Drew University followed by a Masters degree, also in Biology, from Montclair State University. Dr. Carrara teamed up with Dental School classmate and friend, Dr. Corsello, and together they created Morristown Dental Associates. Dr. Carrara believes that one must continually strive to be the best in their chosen field and this requires a commitment to continuing education. He demands compassion and excellence in himself and in his team and treats people as he would like to be treated. Dr. Carrara has built his reputation on getting to know his patients, carefully listening to their concerns, and then explaining in detail what procedures would be best for their needs.
