Dr. Beinan Zhao is a caring and friendly general dentist committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care in all aspects of dentistry. Dr. Zhao shares the office’s philosophy that patients are precious and believes that she can make a difference in patients’ lives by providing education on how they can maintain a healthy smile for life. She aims to help patients attain not only a healthy mouth but also a healthy body. She creates a genuine connection with her patients, offers her patients opportunities to involve in their treatment decision making process and provides them with the excellent, individualised care they need. Dr. Zhao received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She grew up in China and received both bachelor of medicine and bachelor of economics degrees from Peking University in Beijing. After moving to the U.S, she pursued a master degree in Epidemiology from Harvard University and did research in the area of patient health outcomes. She is a proud member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Alameda Dental Association. Dr. Zhao is bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English. Outside the office, she spends most of her time with her husband and two kids. She also enjoys reading, hiking, dancing and exploring great restaurants in Bay Area.
