Dr. Cassara was born and raised in Mountain View. He attended St. Simons elementary school, St. Francis High School, and Santa Clara University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Combined Sciences. He then graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Upon graduation, Dr. Cassara received an honorary award from the Department of Pedodontics (children’s dentistry) for general dentistry and patient management of children. In his free time, Dr. Cassara enjoys bicycling, hiking, basketball, cooking and spending time with his wife, Debbie and his three children, Julianna, Monica, and Paolo. Dr. Cassara is also a member of the following professional groups: American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Mid-Peninsula Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Peninsula Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
