Dr. Michael Lopez has been practicing for over thirty years. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of California San Francisco. Dr Lopez is a member of the UCSF Dean’s Advisory Council, serves on the Executive Boards of the University as well the School of Dentistry Alumni Associations and is the Chairman of the Student Relations Committee. He is a National Trustee of the Hispanic Dental Association and is a member of the HDA National Faculty Advisor Committee. Dr. Lopez is recognized nationally for his commitment to increasing access to care. Dr Lopez was recognized as the 2014 National Outstanding Practitioner of the Year by the Hispanic Dental Association at their National Meeting. In his free time, Dr. Lopez enjoys reading, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family – especially his two grandsons.
