Dr. Shin Young (Sarah) Ahn is a Board Certified Periodontist with advanced training in periodontal therapy, LANAP laser therapy, soft tissue and bone grafting procedures, and dental implants. She received her bachelor's degree in Biology and minor in Hispanic Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and later received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine with honors in clinical dentistry. While practising as a general dentist in Philadelphia, Dr. Ahn found her passion in periodontics and implant dentistry. She furthered her education to receive her Advanced Certificate in Periodontics and Master of Science in Oral Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Ahn emphasises the importance of a comprehensive approach and collaboration with other dentists and specialists to provide the best care and experience to her patients. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ahn enjoys travelling, hiking, and being a foodie with her husband Joon.
