Dr Utz Patel

Dr. Utz Patel grew up on the East End of Long Island in the small town of Quogue. He was steeped in the world of medicine from an early age: His uncle and grandfather practiced dentistry and both of his parents are physicians. Growing up in this kind of environment, Dr. Patel learned first-hand how important quality, trustworthy care is. Dr. Utz earned his Bachelor’s degree in physiology and neurobiology at the University of Maryland, and went on to study dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry. After graduating, he completed a General Residency at Danbury Hospital. For Dr. Utz, serving patients and providing high-quality care is a privilege. He understands the complex relationship between oral health and overall well-being, and works to provide his patients with the kind of care that will allow them to thrive. His unique approach to care takes into account the details of his patients’ experience, which allows him to provide treatments that make a positive impact on their lives and oral health. When he’s not in the office, he can be found golfing, playing video games, or cheering on the Jets, Knicks, & Yankees.
