For Dr. Anna Borden, dentistry has always been about more than healthy teeth- it's about building trust, confidence, and lifelong relationships. After earning her undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology at James Madison University, Dr. Borden went on to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University. She then completed her residency at the Medical University of South Carolina where she served as co-chief resident. She opened Oasis Family Dentistry in November 2020 in the midst of a pandemic with the dream of creating a practice where patients feel truly cared for. Known for her gentle approach and genuine connection with patients, Dr. Borden loves helping people of all ages feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. She takes the time to listen, explain, and make each visit a positive experience. Beyond the office, Dr. Borden volunteers as adjunct faculty at the Medical University of South Carolina where she teaches up-and-coming young dentists. She is a member of the Junior League of Charleston and past president of the Coastal District Dental Society, the local district of the American Dental Association. She currently serves on the Charleston Dukes JMU Alumni Board as well.
