Dr. Detwiler grew up in Buffalo, NY and attended college at The Pennsylvania State University, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition and Minor in Biology. She then returned to her hometown for dental school, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, she completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Throughout the residency program, Dr. Detwiler learned advanced techniques in general dentistry, including implant restorations, full mouth rehabilitation, and cosmetic dental procedures. She enjoys helping her patients achieve the smile they deserve! Dr. Detwiler is a member of the South Carolina Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
