Dr Kate West

Dr. West grew up in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. She attended Clemson University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences and a minor in Microbiology. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. She continued her education by completing an optional one year General Practice Residency at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital (Prisma Health) in Columbia, SC to enhance her knowledge in general dentistry. Dr. West has also completed botox training with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Dr. West is a member of The American Dental Association and The South Carolina Dental Association. She enjoys growing with her patients and helping them transform not only their smile, but their confidence as well. Dr. West is married to her husband Henry, who is a Mount Pleasant native. Together they have a daughter Frances and a yellow English lab named Carl. In their free time, they enjoy being with their family and friends, cheering on the Clemson Tigers and doing anything that involves the outdoors.
