Dr. Kiesel, a Central Indiana native, served four years in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Infantryman with the 1-501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, stationed in Alaska and deployed to Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom. After his service, he returned to Indiana, where he worked as an EMT and lab technician at IU Hospital while earning his biology degree at IUPUI. He then attended Indiana University School of Dentistry. Married to his wife, Heather, for sixteen years, they have three children. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and family bike rides on the Monon. Dr. Kiesel has completed extensive continuing education in dental technology, 3D imaging, and oral surgery. He completed a general practice residency at the VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Indiana Dental Association.
