A native of northern Michigan, Dr. Jason Martin received his undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University. He spent the years between 1996 and 2000 in the Air Force, and went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan in 2006. He has since been practicing in Ludington. Dr. Martin chose dentistry as profession because he always knew he wanted to serve people, and that he would be doing so in the medical profession. Dentistry fits his personality well, and he believes it is truly wonderful to be able to care for others and change lives in so many ways. Since conferment of his dental degree, Dr. Martin has continued advancing his knowledge through hundreds of hours of continued education. He has also received specialized training in the surgical placement and restoration of dental implants. Dr. Martin is especially passionate about the oral-systemic connection, and how it relates to getting people healthy. He is interested in how dental health is related to complete, whole health, and how it serves as an important part in preventing many chronic diseases. Dr. Martin is an active member of: Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Association, Manistee-Mason District Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, American Academy For Oral Systemic Health. Dr. Martin is married and has three daughters. He is very active in his church and enjoys most outdoor activities.
