Originally from Davison, MI, Dr. Matthew Rogers has called West Michigan home since 2019. After graduating from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry in 2015, he proudly served 4 years as an officer in the United States Air Force Dental Corps. In 2016 he completed a year-long Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. Dr. Rogers spent the remainder of his Air Force career as a staff dentist at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia before moving back home to Michigan for private practice. Here at Community Shores Dental, Dr. Rogers enjoys working closely with patients to help develop treatment options that focus on achieving and maintaining their unique oral health goals. He considers himself a life-long learner and has completed hundreds of hours of continuing dental education courses nationwide. Dr. Rogers lives in Grand Haven with his wife, Christine, son Leo, twin daughters, Hazel and Olive, and their dog Steve. In his free time he enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing hockey, golfing, fishing, and attending anything related to Detroit and the University of Michigan athletics. Dr. Rogers is an active member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and West Michigan District Dental Society.
