Growing up in Columbia, SC, Dr. Leslie Jordan spent her formative years working in her father’s dental office—a trusted general dentist who served the community for over 40 years. That early hands-on exposure sparked a deep appreciation for patient care and set the foundation for a lifelong passion in the field. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Biological Sciences, Dr. Jordan earned her dental degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). She completed a one-year general practice residency at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital, where she discovered her love for periodontics. That realization led her back to MUSC to pursue a residency in periodontics and a Master of Science degree. During her training, she was nationally recognized as a finalist in the Balint Orban Memorial Research Competition, and in 2022, she became a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
