Dr Sarah Bach

Originally from Maryland, Dr. Bach received her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, MD where she was awarded the Northeastern Society of Periodontists Certificate of Excellence. After dental school, Dr. Bach went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program in Abingdon, VA. There she focused on comprehensive dentistry, implants, and conscious sedation. She is currently a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and is fully certified in Invisalign treatments. Dr. Bach chose to go into dentistry because she loves how it combines the aspects of helping people and being creative. She sees dentistry as another way to create artwork by making beautiful smiles for patients. Dr. Bach first fell in love with the profession of dentistry at a dental mission project at which she volunteered. In college and throughout dental school she continued to attend these projects to provide free dental care, and even travelled to Panama and Nicaragua to do so. She plans to continue serving on short term mission trips with her husband in the future! Dr. Bach has rejoined us after a brief stent in DC. Her husband is currently pursuing his dream of becoming a pediatric surgeon. They recently adopted a new rescue dog, ZaZa! In her free time, Dr. Bach enjoys taking walks with her husband and dog, refinishing old furniture, traveling, and trying out new restaurants in the area! She is excited to serve the dental needs of patients in this area and take advantage of the warmer winters here down South!
