Dr David Wickness

Dr. David Wickness grew up in Peoria, Illinois, where he was first inspired to become a dentist by his orthodontist. As a high school and college student, he spent hours outside of school working in the practice’s lab making retainers. In the process, he developed an appreciation for the artistic side of dentistry that is the cornerstone of his practice today. To Dr. Wickness, all dentistry is cosmetic in nature. He prioritizes the aesthetics of every restoration, taking care to ensure seamless integration with the patient’s smile. His value for artistry has led him to undertake the in-depth process of accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He also takes a conservative, patient-centered approach, customizing his care to reflect the individual goals of his patients. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Wickness worked as an associate dentist before beginning his own practice in Illinois. In time, he discovered a love for Nashville, from its beautiful weather and scenery to its live music and booming restaurant scene. He now lives here with his wife and high school sweetheart, Rachel, their three daughters, Marissa, Ava, and Lennon, their Bernedoodle named Indie, and their Old English Sheepdog named Wrigley. In his spare time, Dr. Wickness enjoys golfing, skiing, exercising, listening to music, and growing in his faith. He also loves making a good cappuccino and watching March Madness, the Masters golf tournament, college football, and the Chicago Cubs.
