Dr. James R. Pace Sr. attended Montgomery Bell Academy and then received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, a Master of Arts from George Peabody-Vanderbilt University, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Nashville Dental Society, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, and Volunteer Study Club. He started the Belle Meade Family Dentistry practice in 1978 and was the founder of the Middle Tennessee Implant Study Club. Dr. Pace has served the Nashville Dental Society as Chairman of Peer Review and has served as a delegate to the Tennessee Dental Association. He has repeatedly been recognised by a vote of his peers as one of the top dentists in the Nashville Scene Magazine. He is a 2015 Patient’s Choice Award Winner. He has consistently received recognition from the Tennessee Dental Association for his hours of continuing education. He is an active supporter of the Interfaith Dental Center and has led and participated in multiple dental and medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic. Dr. Pace has a keen interest in implant, cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He placed his first dental implant in 1980. He is a certified Invisalign and Clears Correct Provider. Dr. Pace enjoys church, hunting, fishing, college sports, history, hiking, bluegrass music, and travel. He and his wife Dorothy have three children.
