Dr Jessica Kim

Born in LA but raised in San Diego, Dr. Jessica Kim originally had her sights set on a career as a dancer, even receiving a minor in dance alongside her bachelor’s degree in physiology and neuroscience during her time at UCSD. She decided, however, that she could apply her love of art to an entirely different form: dentistry. After graduating from dental school at USC, she attended a general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. Unable to stay away from the West Coast for long, Dr. Kim returned to Southern California after finishing her residency. Dr. Jessica Kim was born in Los Angeles, but was raised in San Diego after the age of three. Although her uncle was a dentist, the thought to become one didn’t enter her mind until the second year of her undergraduate program at UCSD, where she was enrolled as a physiology and neuroscience major and a dance minor. Her love of art, science, and helping others aligned when she discovered the world of dentistry, and she hasn’t looked back since. She attended USC for dental school before completing a general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY.
