Dr. Goldstein grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and attended Brooklyn College where he received a B.A. in Biology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 1985 and then completed his training at Fairleigh Dickinson University, receiving his certificate in periodontics in 1987.
