Dr. Tiphannie Yin was born and raised in Queens, New York. She attended SUNY Stony Brook for her undergraduate education, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. Afterwards, she left for Boston to complete her doctoral training, receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She then returned back to her home state of New York to complete a one-year general practice residency program at SUNY Stony Brook, where she further developed her skills and training in all aspects of general dentistry, including crowns and bridges, root canals, implant restorations, and extractions. Dr. Yin strives to provide comprehensive care to all of her patients, treating everyone with a gentle and compassionate manner. She stays up to date with continuing education, aiming to keep learning and improving upon her techniques and procedures. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. She also speaks fluent Cantonese Chinese. During her free time, Dr. Yin enjoys reading, baking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Otherwise, she can be found watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.
