Dr Howard Winter

Dr. Winter is a highly-trained dentist with over 30 years of experience. He graduated from SUNY at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, with honors in 1989. After completing a general practice residency at Long Island Jewish Hospital, Dr. Winter established his practice. His passion for dentistry comes from the direct impact he has had on the lives of his patients. Dr. Winter’s passion for dentistry has led him to complete thousands of hours of continuing education. He is a lifelong student, learning from some of dentistry's best teachers. Dr. Winter is Invisalign® certified and has completed advanced training in sleep apnea, myofacial pain (TMJ) and occlusal disease. Dr. Winter’s philosophy of practice was most influenced by his completion of the Continuum courses at the world-renowned Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne, Florida. Dr. Winter is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Society and the Nassau County Dental Society. He is also an active member of multiple New York Study Groups committed to excellence in dentistry.
