Dr John Kong

Dr. John Kong is a periodontist and a dental implant specialist, one of the 1% of dentists board-certified by The American Board of Periodontology. He is a native New Yorker who attended the Bronx H.S. of Science while finishing his undergraduate education at Amherst College / Wesleyan University. He received his dental education from SUNY School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook, where he graduated at the top of his class. He then completed a 3 year residency in Periodontics and Implantology at Rutgers Dental School while also getting published in peer-reviewed dental journals on Bone Regeneration. He then completed a 1 year continuum on Full Mouth Rehabilitation at NYU while becoming a recognized specialist at the Kois Center. He is currently Chief of Implantology at Flushing Hospital Medical Center. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), New York State Dental Association (NYSDA), International Congress of Oral Implantologist (ICOI) and American Academy of Periodontology (AAP).
