Mr Laura Moon

Dr. Laura Moon is board certified in Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Cincinnati. She then completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University College of Dentistry. While there, she received the Dean’s Research Award for research on bone mineralization, as well as the Student Award in Implant Dentistry from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Moon completed her training as Chief Resident in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at New York University Langone Hospitals in Brooklyn, NY. She has volunteered as a lecturer for dentists in Jamaica and Zambia. Dr. Moon has many years of experience as a periodontist in WA, NY and NJ. She specializes in procedures such as laser treatment of periodontal disease and peri-implant diseases, gum grafting for recession, tooth extractions, implant placements, bone grafting, gum lifting procedures for esthetic cases, and full-arch hybrid cases.
