Dr. Ho received an A.B. from Cornell University in 1983 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD) in 1988. She achieved a certificate from the Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry from NYUCD and completed an externship at the Prince Philip Dental Hospital in Hong Kong, both in 1989. Dr. Ho has rendered volunteer care in Ghana, Ecuador and Vietnam. She works as a dental consultant for the Suffolk County Office of the Medical Examiner. She has been an active reviewing member of the National Dental Image Repository (NDIR) under the aegis of the FBI since its inception. She has taught at NYU College of Dentistry, Stonybrook University College of Dental Medicine, John Jay College of Criminal Justice and Brooklyn College as a guest lecturer. She has presented on Forensics in various locations and is a co-author on Human Abuse in a dental forensics publication. In forensic dental standards work, Dr. Ho serves as the vice chair of the Organization of Scientific Area Committees (OSAC) forensic odontology subworking group, is a member of the ASB Consensus Body and acts as a US representative to the International Standards Organization (ISO) in the forensic odontology subworking group. Board certification: American Board of Forensic Odontology. She has completed over 1300 hours of continuing education.
