Dr Hung V. Le

Hung V Le, DMD, has over twenty years of experience as a general dentist. After graduating with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Biochemistry from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Le obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Kornberg School of Dentistry Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Upon graduation, Dr. Le commissioned in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps as a Naval Dental Officer. His five years of service included an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) one-year residency in Norfolk, Virgnia, where he received comprehensive multidisciplinary training to provide the best quality of dental care to active-duty men and women in service. The following two years included a full deployment to the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003-2004 and a position as Dental Director-Officer In Charge- at the Naval War College, RI in 2005-2007. Upon his return, Dr. Le practiced at a family dental practice in Glenside, PA. Now Dr. Le resides in Newark, Delaware and continues to provide the best dental care to the community he serves. Dr. Le is married and has two wonderful children, Emma and Ethan. He and his wife, Dawn, enjoy the outdoors, traveling, and love going to the beach with family and friends. Dr. Le has pursued further continuing education in the fields of endodontics, oral surgery, diagnostic, restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry. He is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the Delaware State Dental Society. Dr. Le's office offers a wide scope of services, including tooth colored restorations, crown and bridge works, root canals, oral surgery, emergency treatment and preventive dental care. Dr. Le promises to provide each patient with an honest dental health assessment without the pressure for unnecessary procedures. With his training background, Dr. Le believes in educating patients about their dental health so they can make an informed decision about their dental health care. Dr. Le treats each patient with a gentle caring approach and always puts patients first with their best interests in mind.
