Dr. John Eriksmoen has more than 30 years experience in the dental field. Practicing in Newport Beach as a cosmetic dentist since 1971. Born in Glendale, graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1967. Became a member of the U.S.C. faculty as an Associate Professor of Fixed Prosthodontics. In 1987, made a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Lectures in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry. Investigator in FDA clinical trial studying migraine headache prevention. Active in American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of Dentistry for the Handicapped, American Association of Hospital Dentists, American Society for Geriatric Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry. Member of staff at Hoag Hospital. Devotes a full day each month to continuing education seminar on implant, reconstructive, and cosmetic dentistry. Served as Chairman of Continuing Education twice for Orange County Dental Society, chairman of several committees, Peer Review examiner since 1994.
